FOURTH NIGHT.

Tomorrow we might remember what we were thinking as we fell asleep:

Make a list.

Brush regularly.

Sleep more.

Be less afraid.

Write some questions.

And when we wake up tomorrow we might forget

the way that we hold emotions in our bodies.

How little we really know about the lives of others.

How hard it can be to talk about things.

How complicated things feel.

And when we wake up tomorrow we might remember

that things change slowly.

That it’s alright.

Sometimes we don’t notice until things are already very different.

Driverless cars.

At some point I think we will do a u-turn. Maybe things won’t be so different after all.

We’ll make something big.

And then something small.
